The New Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000
Webcams used to be something that was an ‘extra’. It was something that was not affordable or even particularly popular. Those days have gone and the webcam sector is an industry in its own right.
Today the webcam is a necessary tool with people around the world using them to chat, make friends, flirt, and keep in contact with family. Logitech has taken advantage of this necessity by releasing a new and impressive web cam called the QuickCam Pro 9000.
The webcam has a 2 megapixel camera with a very stylish Carl Zeiss lens. The body itself is a unique shape, with the camera lens placed off to the side of the main unit. This allows for better positioning and flexibility. The Zeiss lens ensures the consumer will have a clear image transmission, and as a great benefit the sound quality is very good too. With webcams the picture or sound often have bad quality transmission, but the 9000 delivers the goods on both.
One of its greatest features is that it has a HD recording device allowing the user to create and send fantastic quality video stream, and it works effectively with personal computers and laptops.
Considering the quality it offers a $113 price tag is actually very cheap. There is currently no model out there that competes at the same standard as the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, and with its affordability other web cam manufacturers might have something to worry about.
